Review 'Unfamiliar Ceiling / THE BEAST' is concerned on how to survive in the world right now, on what is leftover in the world (love, a hypothesis), what is leftover in the link with the world. Inside of a bedroom. Living, describing (filming towards description) the bedroom where this film is made: on the limit of losing the link with the world. Losing the link is, in a paradox, what makes the link vibrate even more. How to live, how to describe? Description as an artistic, living operator, concept and trajectory in which we can gather, join, be together, think together. The possibilities of the bedroom; the impossible in the possible, limited, to think the impossible while being impotent, only describing - but describing is not only a only, there is a world in describing, an undercommon, a world to describe that we still live in, that we try to manage to live in, to scape, to sing into something, somehow. To describe: work on sensibility, on the mesure of our lives. The importance of description is that it is a move in the language game: with it's values, highlights and undercommons, differences, similarities, subtleties, intensities. To describe is to be in the game, thinking about the game, showing how the game works. Trying to change it in a non narrative trajectory - that means: out of a "veracious or not", "useful or not" debate concerning time, chronology, human existence and experience. Language game: always changing, even when we do not notice it
